25-year-established Classic Rocking Horses just completed another successful shipment with Anglo Pacific. Having already transported important equine cargo to Canada and Australia, dappled-grey ‘Sabre’ recently came to New Zealand - much to the delight of his new owner.
Talking about Sabre as “the most striking rocking horse I have ever come across”, client Alison, based in Tauranga on the North Island, was especially delighted by the international removal service provided by Anglo Pacific.
“Sabre came to Tauranga a few weeks ago and the shipping and delivery agents were wonderful helping me manage the required documents and paying out the customs duty here in New Zealand,” states Alison. Both delivery guys were fantastic; they uncrated him on the truck then carried him to the front door and in the house, putting him in the very same place my spouse and I had agreed upon after much debate. Then they continued to finish the unwrapping, got me to inspect him over and sign him off, then Sabre was basically mine."
With rates ranging between £2,300 and £3,500 for a Dappled Grey Classic, subject to the size, these gorgeous hand-made pieces of art must be managed cautiously.
Jean Tildesley, founder of Classic Rocking Horses, alongside husband Brian, says, “Anglo Pacific’s Fine Art wrapping service compliments our business. They pack and load very carefully, clear customs at each end, and unpack and dispose of the crate - a benefit compared with a number of companies who'll deliver kerbside only. I can also obtain a concrete quotation quickly, which is beneficial in closing a sale.”
Classic Rocking Horses has been rebuilding classic horses and making new ones for longer than two-and-a-half decades. In that period they've delivered them across the world from Norway to the Netherlands and Singapore to Shanghai, though the majority of customers naturally tend to be from the UK. Mass production isn’t ever going to be a goal, just horses of the very best quality.
